About / Kareem Schultz
Curious about the bits people don't usually see.
The short version
I'm Kareem, based in Guyana. My work is in ICT engineering and infrastructure. I spend a lot of time thinking about networks, systems and what it takes to keep services available.
Outside of work I follow new technology, experiment with cloud and self-hosted tools, and enjoy turning ideas into useful software. GYCalc and Guyana Traffic Advisory are two projects that came out of that curiosity.
I use AI-assisted development tools as part of that process, but the important part is still understanding the problem, checking the work and making the final experience useful for real people.
This is my personal website. It isn't a portfolio of confidential employer projects or clients' internal systems.
